Quartz TPT was first developed for the RM 27-02 Nadal), which is a composite made of multiple layers of quartz fibers, which are generally used for very high-performance applications due to their resistance to high temperatures, their strength, and their transparency to electromagnetic waves.
-RM is great at using color in their products. This new release might seem like just a simple color change to the existing 65-01, but it’s more complex than that. The colors and tints must be added to the resin material right at the start of the manufacturing process. If the chemical that changes the color doesn’t mix well with the other materials, the entire product could be compromised. This means a lot of research and development went into making this color change possible. Not many other brands would go through such a lengthy process just for a new color.
